The Icebreaker

Hey there!

It’s currently 9:02 pm. on a flavorless Friday night in September – and I’m about to do something incredibly weird. Welcome to my first ever blog post! (YAYAYAYA) So I’m going to be real: I have absolutely no idea where I’m going to go with this. I’m your average 17-year-old girl, kind of. There are times (i.e. now) I like to believe I am a mature adult, always knowing what’s best, taking matters into my own hands, not appearing so impressionable and vulnerable to society.

Here’s the thing: I have a lot to say. I can’t figure out why. I frequently find myself sitting in class, or reading an article, or watching T.V., or listening to music, and suddenly experience an annoying myriad of feelings and emotions. I can immediately register fear, doubt, concern, exuberance, happiness, hope, pride, and more. But of course, I am the type of person that keeps knocking on the door, without the slightest consideration of turning the knob. I don’t speak up, and I am sick of it. It is my greatest hope that through this blog I can display to you my inside career. I’m here to explore the magnetism of written thoughts and ideas in action.

Ok, so that was borderline deep, but I hope to produce a variety of posts that will illustrate my perspective, make you smile, and hopefully give you a feeling of satisfaction (fingers-crossed). Now, it’s 10:17 pm. That took WAY too long for just three paragraphs, but hey I guess pondering your purpose is worthwhile.

Anyway, thanks for reading! I’ll get better at this. Stay tuned. You won’t be disappointed.

-Mina (Does Charismina finally make sense now?)

  1. Hi Mina!! It’s Alvin, I’m a BIG fan of yours and just wanted to know if I could get in contact with you somehow. You’ve really inspired me with all your thoughts and keep producing! I know it can be hard out there, but I’m always with you. ❤ Alvin.
